Tight on a saddled Icelandic horse's barrel and girth strap outside a corrugated stable in Reykjavik, Iceland, early summer evening after rain, red lava gravel darkened and shiny, a coiled lead rope abandoned at one hoof, puddle holding pale sky. Reykjavik Riding Tours Close view along a saddled Icelandic horse's flank on a farm in Iceland, geothermal steam rising behind grassy hills near Hveragerði, pale green summer evening light, wet straps, a coiled rope left on the timber mounting block. Hveragerdi Riding Tours Tight on hooves sinking into jet-black volcanic sand at Vík, Iceland, an Icelandic horse walking the shoreline under a moody overcast afternoon, sea spray, drifting foam, a scuffed plastic bucket half buried near the dunes. Black Sand Beach Rides, South Coast A line of Icelandic horses along a fjord-side ridge in north Iceland under sharp blue late-morning light, wild angelica and basalt scree, distant red-roofed farm, one loose stirrup swinging, dust on the gravel path. Riding in North Iceland Tight frame of a single rider from behind on an Icelandic horse crossing golden autumn moorland in east Iceland, low slanting sun through mist, birch scrub at the field edge, a discarded glove on the muddy track. Private Rides Wide view across a farmyard in south Iceland at bright hazy noon, saddled Icelandic horses tied to a timber fence, a green volcano in the haze, boots and rain gear piled by a corrugated shed door, hay scattered on gravel.
